2010 FAMILY-STYLE COMFORT FOOD DINNERS
Enjoy a fun, casual dinner at a communal table where we serve up some of Chef Tory’s favorite classic comfort foods on Tuesday nights. Great local beers and wines by the glass are available for purchase.
As always, our Tuesday dinners feature ingredients from local farms and artisan producers.

June 8th - Fried Chicken and Strawberry Shortcake NEW!
Get ready for a finger-licking fried chicken feast! Chef Tory will channel his inner Southern grandmother for this ultimate comfort food dinner. The fried chicken will be served with classic sides. For dessert, he'll plate up a yummy strawberry shortcake with house-made vanilla custard.

April 20th - Cassoulet Dinner
Enjoy a taste of France's Southwest where cassoulet is a classic comfort food. Among the ingredients are tender white beans, artisan sausages and duck confit! Wine director, Michael Kwas, will pair the hearty dish with a traditional wine from the region... perhaps a juicy, tannic Malbec or Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
April 13th - Tropical Party
Pull out your flower prints and bright colors for this tropical extravaganza! Inspired by our recent, highly successful tropical-themed baby shower, Chef Tory will serve up delicious jerked pulled pork, rice & beans, and an out-of-this-world tres leches cake! With reggae tones, rum punch and cervezas you'll be transported to much warmer climates!
March 16th - A James Beard Home-style Dinner
Honoring another classic American Chef, we will prepare a feast from the James Beard cookbook. What you might expect: soft white rolls & homemade butter; beet & hardboiled egg salad with bacon lardon and tarragon vinaigrette; braised Fountain Prairie Farm shortribs and sauerkraut topped with crispy onions; and a Meyer lemon pudding with graham cracker crust.
January 19th - Breakfast for Dinner
You asked for it, you got it! Chef Tory's favorite meal may just be Sunday breakfast where he always prepares an all-out feast of favorites like eggs benedict, home fries, house-cured maple bacon, hot cinamon rolls and more. And to keep things real festive, we'll include your first mimosa or house-made Bloody Mary in your dinner price!
January 12th - Ode to Julia Child
Back by popular demand! This is our second Julia Child dinner featuring classic french comfort foods. For the last dinner, Chef Tory made a delicious rustic paté, coq au vin and crêpes normandes. Come see what he will make this time around!

November 10th - Ode to Julia Child
Serving up classic French comfort foods. The menu is yet to be determined, but promises to embrace the fall season. Ladies, pull out your pearls in honor of this great American French chef.
October 27th - German Night
As authentic as it comes with house-made sausages, sauerkraut and beer bread! Bring your beer steins!
September 15 - Burgers and Malts
Chef Tory goes back to his roots for this fun and playful dinner offering a juicy Fountain Prairie Farm burger packed with flavor. What's on the burger? We'll leave you guessing, but check-out his recipes if you want to see what he might be offering!
September 8th - Pork Carnitas
Featuring Willow Creek Farm slow cooked Pork and house-made salsa from the best of our late summer tomatoes!
August 25 - Crawfish Boil
Louisiana-style crawfish with home-made andouille, cajun spices, potatoes, and corn.
August 18 - Peruvian-Style Roasted Chicken
You’ll love this flavor-packed chicken rubbed with lime, garlic and spices.
